Election 2011: EKOS-NDP Doubled Support

EKOS has fresh numbers out just now and as of today's poll projects as many as 100 seats for the NDP.

Who is the third party now?

"We have seen almost from Day One a slow, steady and now a dramatic rise where the NDP has gone from 14 points in a pre-writ poll to 28 points," Graves said. "That is a doubling - I've never seen anything close to that."

Vancouver-Kingsway: Ignatieff Town Hall Tonight

FYI for fellow residents of our splendid riding, Liberal party leader Michael Ignatieff will host a town hall meeting tonight, Monday April 25, at 6:30 pm at the Vancouver Alpen Club (map) - located at the corner of 33rd avenue and Victoria. If you live in the area, why not attend and see what the unfiltered view looks like and write about it.

People that know me know I am not anti-anything other than Harper's Conservatives so please do not take this as an endorsement or my qualifier as a lack of endorsement.

If I could attend this evening, I would, just as I have attended a number of Jack Layton's events over the years. Speaking of Jack, on Saturday April 30, 12:30 pm, Jack Layton will host a Metro Vancouver Rally (Facebook) at the First avenue Film Studio, 4088 1st Avenue, Burnaby (map).

I would attend Stephen Harper's events but the screeners would never let me in.

May: No chance of Conservative Majority

There is no longer ANY prospect of a Conservative majority. Elizabeth May, April 21, 2011

In today's missive to the faithful, Elizabeth May asserts that there is no chance Stephen Harper will achieve his long sought after majority in the House of Commons. May bases her confident prognosis on the strength of data from a single pollster.

There is only one response I can craft that does full justice to my opinion of Elizabeth May's claim.

Bullshit.
