Prediction: Emerson as BC Premier

Monday’s remaking of David Emerson as a Conservative of convenience caused me to re-evaluate a long-held assertion of mine:

David Emerson will leave federal politics and run as leader of the BC Liberals, working hand in hand with Gordon Campbell as they both conspire to engineer a “friendly takeover”.

Its hard to imagine that scenario playing out, now.
